Events 2026

June

13 June 2026: Metsämörri family event at Sointumetsä from 1 pm to 5 pm. Metsämörri encourages children to play and get active in the great outdoors. There’s plenty to marvel at and explore in the forest. The event is free of charge. Forest café will be open throughout the event.

Metsämörri, a friend of the forest and children who lives in the wild, invites families to join him on an adventure on 13 June. Join Metsämörri on a forest outing featuring three wonderful, story-based activities designed to strengthen your connection with nature. path, Metsämörri's origin story and Metsämörri's direction mystery. Forest Café is also open during the event, where you can find delicious snacks to enjoy by the campfire.

29.8.2026 Spend the night at Soundforest from 5.00 pm. Accommodation in a yurt costs 45 € per person and in a hammock 35 € per person. If you bring your own accommodation, the cost is 10 € per person. Includes use of campfire sites, cooking equipment, laavu and an outdoor toilet, as well as drinking water. You can buy an evening meal for 22 € per person and a breakfast buffet for 32 € per person from the forest café. Register at info@sointumetsa.fi or on 0401752082.

On the last weekend of August, we’re hosting the ‘Spend the night Outdoors’ event at Soundforest. Come and enjoy the nature and some tasty picnic food in good company in the atmospheric forest. Breakfast and dinner are available from the forest cafe.
